The Professional Tour Caddies of America (PTCA) is the "official" caddy association of PGA Tour caddies.
The PTCA is a Non-Profit Corporation that has been working for over 20 years to improve working conditions and establish benefit programs for its members.
To qualify for Membership a caddy must have worked a minimum of 15 PGA Tour tournaments. The current membership includes over 130 full time PGA Tour caddies with an average of 12 years experience caddying on the PGA Tour. The majority of PGA Tour players employ PTCA caddies.
The "Caddy" is the official, trademark protected, logo of the PTCA. It was designed by Johnny Hart, the creator of the B.C. and Wizard of ID comic strips, and donated by him to the PTCA.
